This is a picture of the front yard. Comcast was here earlier and set us up with cable tv and high speed internet. It's a large campground with all walks of life. It's neat to see how differnt types of people relax from their jobs, some drink, some play games and others just like to hideaway from the world. Me, I do a little of all of the above.
We did find the perfect campground. I just called to have the electric turned on and cable will be turned on this Sunday. By Sunday afternoon we should be all set up. I must admit I am excited about this new camp site. As some of you know, I love to write and I believe this new place will prove to be quite and inspirational.
For those who are interested, I have not made it to the campground this season other than to check to make sure the trailer is still there. I'm afraid we are going to have to move again. Need to be somewhere closer this time.
But, stay tuned...I think we have found the "perfect" place.
Ugh! Not enough seats on the train. I got split up from my co-worker (who is attending the training with me). I got stuck sitting with 3 women who had no problems finding the words to inform the others of life's mishaps. I know about their significate others, trips they took, what they really think about their friends and their deepest most inner thoughts on life in general.
We are now 20 minutes into the trip. A small pause in conversation or just a moment of silence and then on to weather and hygiene.
Help!
It's not camping but I did travel, and since I'm not a city person, it was rougher than camping. To set the the stage, this is my second time here in as many weeks. A two day day training class on MAC 10.5 taught by Kevin White, the author of Mac OS X Support Essentials. Awesome, awesome training class that my company paid for.
Anyway, I will be taking lots of pics to share with everyone my trip to th Big Apple. As you can see I'm starting with the Wilmington train station.
My favorite place when I come home from work is sitting in front of my pond and watch my fish. Just wanted to share. Enjoy.
Our day started a little late. Hubby didn't make it to the campground until 3:30 pm because he had to work. As soon as he arrived, we jumped into the car and took off for Kitchen Kettle Village. We had a lot of fun. We bought fudge, landjaeger, homemade ice cream and of course we did a ton of sampling at the Kitchen Kettle, Jam & Relish Kitchen (picture shown below). If you ever find yourself in Lancaster, PA, this place is a must to visit.
Note: I can almost guarantee you will not see my daughter's face in any picture on this blog. I am just not fast enough with a camera.
